Richeson Booker served during the Revolution as a Sergeant in the Continental Line. For his three years service, he received a grant of 1000 acres in Kentucky. He is mentioned in "The Booker Lineage" (Eggleston) as having lived in Petersburg as steward for a Mrs. Bolling. At the June Court in Amelia County, 1800, he is named as surviving extr. of George Booker, deceased. He apparently died unmarried and his Will gave information about the immediate family.
