A complete listing of King Graves' wife and children is draw from two documents: (1) The Last Will & Testament of daughter Polly who died about 1803, and (2) a Deed dated 02 February 1807, and filed in Chesterfield County, and signed by Frances Graves Cobbs and husband John Cobbs, and Lucy Graves Perry and her husband Perry, in which King's widow Mary is granted a life estate in the land, slaves and other property which came to them at the death of King's son William Graves.
