Notes

In the final distribution of his father's estate, Samuel received one slave, an accounts receivable from the Administrator of the estate, an accounts payble to his brother William, and the one hundred acres on which he resided, which was identified as Lot #7 on the plat of the 1,268 acres owned by his father in Bedford County. He was named as still living, in the Inventory of his father's estate, which was filed with the court, in December 1800.
