THE PARIS NEWS 10 Jun 1916. 'Mrs. Ethel Boyd Lattimore, the wife of J. D. Lattimore, a well known citizen of the Roxton community, died at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family residence a mile and a half northwest of Roxton. She had been seriously ill only a few days and her death came as a great sorrow to her friends in Paris, where she was born and reared. She was the youngest of the children of the late A.H. Boyd, one of the pioneer newspaper men of Paris, and she had many lifelong friends. Besides her husband and three children, two little girls and a baby boy only a few weeks old, she is survived by four brothers, W.E., B.H. and Elbert Boyd of Paris and Howard Boyd of El Paso and by two sisters, Mrs. C. R. Malone of Paris and Mrs. Eugenia Bannister of Hugo. Both of her sisters were with her when she died. The body will be brought to the city on the Frisco train this afternoon and will be taken to the home of her brother, W. E. Boyd on South Twenty Second St., where the funeral will be held at 4 o'clock. Rev. L.C. Kirks, pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church officiating. The burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery'. In 1993 this was an unmarked grave.
