WALHALLA, SC -- Ruby Duncan Cobb, 98, wife of the late Boone Cobb, of 102 S. Chestnut St., Walhalla, SC, died Monday, September 13, 2004 at Hospice House of Anderson.
A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Lela Holden Duncan. Mrs. Cobb was a homemaker and the oldest member of Mountain Rest Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughter-in-law, Eleanor Cobb of Mountain Rest, SC; grandchildren, Rick Davis of Pickens, SC, Charles Davis of Homosassa, FL, Linda Nedwards of Piedmont, SC; five great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cobb was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her husband and parents, son, George Cobb; daughter, Betty Davis; brothers, Jess, Roy, J. B. and Jack Duncan; and sisters, Myrtle Beck and Daisy Duncan predeceased Mrs. Cobb.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00AM Thursday, September16, 2004 at Mountain Rest Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Mountain Rest Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
The family is at the residence.
