Notes
Robert inherited the Mansion of Bishopston at Reculver and most of his father's other properties. In 1663 he brought the family records to date at the College of Heralds during their visitation to Kent when he was 37 years of age. He was the last member of the family at Reculver where the family had been for two hundred and fifty years. His son Robert returned to New Romney when he was a young man.
