Her headstone in the churchyard reads:"Sacred to the memory of Dorothy COBB of Deal, third daughter of the late John and Dorothy Cobb of this parish. She died July 28th 1849 aged 68 years. Also Elizabeth Cobb of Deal 4th daughter of the above named John and Dorothy Cobb. She died on the 25th of March 1860 aged 77 years."

She died unmarried and without issue.
