Her headstone in the churchyard reads: "To the memory of Mr. John COBB of this parish who departed this life the 3rd of December 1786; aged 78 years. Also Mary his wife who died the 18th of March 1805; aged 88 years."

John Young erroneously reported her date of death as being 1785.
