Historical Notes

On May 25, 1872, William deeded his son George W., per Wayne County, West Virginia Deed Book K, page 409, 80 acres on Saw Pit Branch on the waters of Cove Creek, a branch of Twelvepole. May 31, 1897 William willed his grandson, William Wiley, Jr. certain property, with this will attested by George W. and Winchester, uncles of Wiley, Jr.
