Notes

A resident of Glendale, California after 1931, he taught English and Journalism at Hoover High School before entering the real estate business. During World War II he was a Captain in Air Force Intelligence at Luke Field in Arizona. He was president of Auxier Real Estate Co. and in 1953 was named Glendales's realtor of the year. Further he was past president of the Board of Realtors of Glendale. Alvin died while testifying in a civil suit over a real estate commission in Glendale, California.
