Historical Notes

Charles in his early years framed in North Dakota. When the dry years came he quit farming and worked for an elevator until the 30's when he moved to Montana. In Montana he worked in the oil fields. In his later years he was a caretaker for a cemetery. After his wife died, he lived with his son, Timothy Herman.
