The records of Marriage Bonds for Bedford County, Virginia. On Aug 7, 1815, John L. Cobbs gave consent to marry as the Guardian of one Nancy S. Ray, daughter of Sarah. The groom was Ira E. Clark of Amherst County, Virginia. Surety for the Bond was one Simeon Ray. The marriage was performed by one Frederick Kabler on Sep 7, 1815. The identity of Nancy Ray and her mother is as yet unknown.
