Conyer FULLER #33571

ABT 1872 - ____
BIRTH ABT 1872, Texas, USA
CENSUS 1880, Fannin, Texas, USA
After the death of her father, her mother married William H. Cobb in 1874. In 1877, the Fannin County court appointed Cobb her legal guardian. After her mother died in 1879, she remained under Cobb's guardianship until she became of legal age.

On the 1880 census of Fannin County, she was listed as an eight year old niece in the household of one L. E. Jackson and wife Fannie of Ladonia, Fannin County. It has been speculated that the Jackson's were Woodward relatives. Conyer's presence in their household is unexplained. Fannin court records do show that after her mother died there apparently arose some discord over whether she should remain in Cobb's care. The court ruled that she should, and Cobb continued to make regular periodic reports to the court as to her welfare all the way up to January 1891, when he reported she had come of age.

It is noted that Conyer was not named or referred to in any way in Cobb's Will filed in Fannin County in 1895. Her fate is unknown although it has been rumored that she ended up in California.
