Historical Notes

On October 15, 1784, James Anderson received a grant for 292 acres of land in Laurens District, South Carolina. The basis for this grant is as yet unknown. It is known that he eventually relocated to Missouri. However, his Will was filed in Laurens District, South Carolina, in 1795.
