It has recently come to light that some researchers are claiming that Elizabeth Cobbs married one Samuel Moss about 1738 in Granville County, North Carolina, and died there about 1780. This claim is evidently based on outdated LDS and DAR records, as well as an old published history of Henderson County, Kentucky. As yet no documentation based on more recent and credible research has been offered.
