[N2783] In it he named his wife Thomasyn, appointing her Executrix, and his nine children. He requested that his body be buried by the Palm Cross in the churchyard of Reculver and at his burial he wished to have a dirge and a mass said for his soul. He left the poor people of Reculver 1,000 shillings and made substantial bequests to his wife and children.

[N2782] This is calculated by the facts that he made his Will on April 2nd, which was proved on the 26th of the same month, indicating he had died in the interim.
