Historical Notes

She is only mentioned in the estate administration records of her father Massiah Cobb in 1918. The "Heirs of Minerva Roach" received a share of his estate equal to the same amount his other known children received. Her parents married about 1875, and cannot be located until the 1900 census of Oconee County. Since she was not living with them at that time, it is safe to assume she was already married to Mr. ROACH.
