Married (1st) December 24, 1837, Eleanor C., daughter of Edmund Cobbs, Bedford County Virginia, who died April 29, 1843; (2nd) April 22,1847, Miranda, daughter of J. C. Hall, Warsaw, N. Y. 10 ch. Brother Robert W. (Amherst College 1845).
