Historical Notes

Ray served almost four years in the Pacific during WWII. He was with Co. B, 21st Inf. Reg. This regiment saw duty at Pearl Harbor, Australia, Goodenough Island, Hollandia, Pinagat Island, Panaon Island, Leyte, Mindoro, Marinduque Island, Cuyo Island, Luzon, Lubang Island and Mindanao. He is a retired farmer and semi-retired carpenter.
