The Will of her second husband Joseph Eggleston stipulates that a son from his first marriage was "to manage her fortune from Capt. Wm. Bentley as he is obligated to pay her as long as she shall live. "Also drawing from this it would appear that Judith had no children by Bentley to care for her in her last years, as it befell the duty of her Eggleston step children to do so.
