[N48] Polly Borders, daughter of John and Catherine (Sellards) Borders and granddaughter of Hezekiah Sellards was born ca 1796 in Wythe County, Virginia. She married in Floyd County, Kentucky on August 15, 1809 on Isham (Isom) Daniel born ca 1799 in Virginia, son of James Daniel. Isom was also the stepson of Samuel Sellards, son of Hezekiah Sellards. Isom settled on the Big Sandy River above Whitehouse, Kentucky. he was killed while felling timber on his farm. On September 9, 1817, per land office warrant No. 186, he received a patent of fifty acres at the mouth of Lick Creek, being situated between S. Daniels and Mrs. Borders, probably his mother-in-law. A July 25, 1848 deed , per Johnson County Deed Book A, page 287 disposes of a tract of land on Hoods Fork of Blaine, as part of the settlement of Isham Daniel's estate.
