George had a patent of land on the left fork of Toms Creek. On February 16, 1846, his son Joseph sold a portion of this tract to William Dixon.
George Daniel, born February 15, 1792, in Virginia, son of James and Nancy (Belcher) Daniel, and step-son of Samuel Sellards, married in Floyd County, Kentucky on February 2, 1815, Sarah Dorton, born ca 1797 in Virginia. George had a patent of land on the left fork of Toms Creek. On February 16, 1846, his son Joseph sold a portion of this tract to William Dixon. George died before 1850.
