There is a vast discrepancy here, regarding Frank's date of birth. According to family tradition (and his cemetery headstone), he was born 10 Feb 1894 in Macon County, North Carolina. Further, the 1930 census lists him as being born in 1896. However, he was enumerated in his parent's home on the 1900 census, and was listed as the oldest child in the home, having a birth date of May 1884.
