THE PARIS NEWS Thu., Aug. 27, 1992, p.2A. '...80, of Roxton, died Wed., Aug. 26, at Medical City Hospital, Dallas. Services at 2 p.m. Sat., Aug. 29, at the Roxton United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Tomlinson. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home in charge. Born in Paris, a daughter of John and Ethel Boyd Lattimore, she attended Paris schools and married Lloyd 'Button' M. Moore Dec. 29, 1931. He died Feb. 23, 1988. She was postmistress at Roxton for 25 years before retiring and had worked at the Paris post office for 4 years. She was a member of the Roxton United Methodist Church and had taught its adult ladies Sunday school class for a number of years. She was a member of the National League of Postmasters, had served on the Lamar County welfare board for 9 years, was a member of the Red River Valley Arts Ass'n, a charter member of the Roxton Book Club, and was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Women. She served on the board of the Roxton Cemetery Ass'n. and on the board of the Roxton Ex-Students Ass'n. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James Lloyd and Pat Moore of Rockwall; 2 grandchildren, Brennan Moore and Allison Moore, both of Rockwall.'
