[N53] Rutha Ann Sellards, daughter of John and Annie (Alford) Sellards and granddaughter of Hezekiah Sellards, was born in Kentucky, probably Floyd County, ca 1816 and married in Floyd County on January 9, 1840 one Zachariah Castle, born ca 1811 in Virginia. Zachariah was the son of Benjamin and Elizabeth (Salyer) Castle. Zachariah came from Scott County, Virginia with his parents in 1824. On January 9, 1863 Zachariah received a portion of his father's farm on the Sycamore Branch of Toms Creek.
