[N329] Shortly after marriage Tip settled in Montana. He worked for the Texas Company for a few years, then moved to Washington where he worked on a pipeline and later on the Grand Coulee Dam. He returned to Cut Bank, Montana. At Cut Bank he again worked for the Texas Company as a pumper. Tip's musical specialty was the trumpet and for several years he had an orchestra. As he was also experienced in sandblasting and painting, he left the Texas Company to form his own construction company. As he and all the members of the family being good riders they helped from the Cut Bank Saddle Club. Tip was killed in an auto accident.
